Are you related to one of the original five Rogers Brothers, who came from Plattsburgh, New York, to Los Angeles in the early 1900s, built a rock and gravel business, sailed the local waters, did some good, raised a lot of heck, and in general enjoyed life with epic gusto?

Are you are a third or fourth generation Rogers, who may not even recognize some of your long-lost cousins? (If you ever met them, that is.) Did cousin Bob Rogers send you a two-volume, slip-cased family history?

Save the date – June 23 – to join us to get reacquainted! You’ll probably get a card in the mail, but check back here regularly!

If you’re one of us, or think you are, send an email to be approved to join this virtual family meeting place. Please send me, at the very least, the names of your parents and Rogers grandparents. If you are really unsure about the details of all that family history (“I don’t know—we always just called him Gramps…”), send your phone number, too, and I’ll call you.
